Excellent chemical resistance Offers maximum chemical resistance, allowing it to withstand the most aggressive conditions during processing and application. Thanks to its vitreous composition, it is also a high-quality electrical insulator.
It is practically free of magnesium, lime and zinc and contains only traces of heavy metals.

Chemical Resistance: This glass is highly resistant to water, neutral and acid solutions, concentrated acids and their mixtures, as well as chloride, bromine, iodine, and organic solvents. Even during long periods of exposure and at temperatures above 100°C, its chemical resistance exceeds that of most metals and other materials. It can withstand repeated wet and dry sterilizations without surface deterioration and contamination. It resists the attack of various chemical substances. Only hydrofluoric acid, very hot phosphoric acid and alkaline solutions with increasing concentration and temperature, attack the glass surface more and more.

Glass is a very fragile material, it cannot be very tight to rigid frames. To prevent it from breaking due to expansion, the glass will always measure both in width and height 4 mm less than that of the place where it should be installed. The free space must be filled with silicone.
